MELBOURNE, Jan 10 AAP - Ironman Jonathan Crowe today said he had put on hold plans
to start a family as he waited for test results after stepping on a syringe on a Melbourne
beach at the weekend.

"My wife and I were talking about having babies and having a family," Mr Crowe said.

"But unfortunately I'm going to have to put this on hold now because I'm going to have
to wait for that three-month period.
