Fed: Rudd's wife to continue career if Labor wins election

The wife of federal Opposition leader KEVIN RUDD may be the first spouse of a prime
minister to keep her maiden name and her career .. if Labor wins the federal election.

THERESE REIN's company .. Ingeus .. runs job placement programs for the federal government
worth 58 million dollars a year and generates global revenue worth 170 million dollars.

The entrepreneur has told Fairfax newspapers she'd continue her career if Mr RUDD becomes
prime minister this year.

But she and Mr RUDD have both indicated they'd seek advice from the Department of Prime
Minister and Cabinet over the issue if Labor wins the election.
