- Former NRL star Greg Bird has been convicted of recklessly wounding his girlfriend
and of lying to police.

- A Sydney man facing 10 years jail for biting off part of a man's ear in a brawl in
Penrith has called his victim "a sook."

- Fashion designer Wayne Cooper has shown off a spring/summer collection inspired by
strong women like Jerry Hall and Deborah Harry. Young designer Dion Lee showed off his
collection in an underground carpark.
